When I was asked to write and record this by my dear sister Molly, being a man of certain a time, I'd been listening to few tunes from back in the day, and one of them went just a little like this
A Ladi Dadi, a Ladi Dadi, but this is not a party
For I'm just a guy without a mike
But when I chat, I chat with God at the realm...
Enough is enough
Is he enough, oh trust me, God is enough
Ya see, I was going through a time, of trial and trivialities
Weeping, crying, for the love of my son's
Then in a pillow of tears, I heard...
Weeping may stay all night, but in the morning, joy!
And God saw, that it was good...
Not unlike, her who bore you,
Fatherless Britain was born...!
Come to me, all who labour and are heavily ladened, for I will give you rest...
So, there I lay, crying until I slept...
And there in my dreams, I heard...
If you ever need a friend or Councillor, try Jesus
"God, only you know what a tangled web they weave," I replied...
But through you and only you, my one and only God, I see, and know my truth, the truth, the only truth...
Even though, many in your house, choose not to see or hear my cries...
And then, there are those, whom mocked and laughed...
But in you, and only you my Lord, I trust...
For I seek no validation, but that of your loving grace, and guidance...
Oh, and our secret hugs...
For when they see only me, and one set of footprints, they recognize not, that it's you, whom is carrying me...
But for those who have hope, and wait upon the Lord, will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings, like eagles;
They will run, and not grow weary...
They will walk, and not be faint.
"Write your story my son, the Lord said!"
But they will not read it, I replied...
Again, I heard the voice say. "Write your story my son!"
I replied, "But even if one or two of my brothers and sisters read it."
"We are divided, and they will not write or comment, and or share it!"
Again the voice said "Write your story my son!"
"But why me? Why did you let this happen to me?
For I only have two son's, and I've kept my promise!"
Again I heard the voice, "Don't cry, dry your eyes!"
Because this type of thing is happens every day...
"Remember Yeshua!"
"And yes, I know you will keep your promise!"
"Your one and only," I replied
It was then that I realised to whom I was conversing. "Oh thank you Lord."
With tears of hope and joy, flooding down my chest, as if I'd just showered, I gave myself a stretch as if, the morning yawning.
But I was troubled, I was tempted, anxious and afraid, then suddenly the cloud was lifted, someone must have prayed.
I was lost uncertain of the choice that should be made, then all at once I knew the answer, someone must have prayed.
For in my crisis, unseen powers hasten to my aid, and when all this is over, I will say, someone must have prayed.
Patience is my virtue, Patience is my strength.
Patience shall deliver me into thy Kingdom of my God, with my sons standing either side of me.
Thank you for bringing me home Lord, with all my love.
Lord hear my prayer...
My son's, to my son's, I love you both more than you could ever know...!
A Ladi Dadi, a Ladi Dadi, but this is not a party

Fatherless Britain, this such a delight to wake up to. It reminded me of a passage in Bible that says, " In my father's house are many mansions" lovely so nice to hear.
ReplyDeleteBless you, and thank you. John chapter 14, verse 2. Spiritual dwelling in God's house, the Tabernacle within us, as we are the Tabernacle, the temple of God within us.
ReplyDeleteBless you ~ #FatherlessBritain
