Happy Birthday Dad Fatherless Britain

 Happy Birthday Dad

I know you'll be thinking of this weekend because it was my birthday.
Strange because I never started celebrating my birthday until the two of you came along...

I was tempted I was troubled
anxious and afraid,
but suddenly the cloud was lifted,
someone must have prayed

I was lost uncertain of the choice
that should be made,
then all at once I knew the answer,
someone must have prayed
Prayer changes things in ways we do not understand,
through the pressures of events there comes a hidden hand.
Providential circumstances work mysteriously,
something saves me from DISASTER and CATASTROPHE

At the mould of my need
I feel that help is nigh,
I am Led I know not how,
and blessed I know not why,
In my crisis unseen powers hasten to my aid
and when this is all over I will say,
someone must have prayed

Patience is my virtue
Patience is my strength
Patience shall deliver me into thy kingdom of my God, with my sons, standing either side of me
Lord hear my prayer
Amen

Baby Teddy Thomas Mitchell Death

Cold to the touch, 24thrs in Police custody

Are the Social Services fit for purpose?
Systematically removing good Father's, and not removing dangerous abusive men?

This documentary was aired on Channel 4 Wednesday 5th of January 2022. This documentary showed the brutal torture of 11 week old baby Teddie Thomas Mitchell by Cane Mitchell...
Baby Teddie Thomas Mitchell
Baby Teddie Thomas Mitchell of St Neots, Cambridgeshire, 11 weeks old suffered a cardiac arrest. Mum Lucy Smith, Dad Cane Smith called the emergency services.

Mum and dad were arrested after Dr's turned off the life support machines after baby Teddie having suffered catastrophic injuries. A major bleed on the brain and a fractured skull.

Baby Teddie's three siblings were placed with their natural biological father.

Police investigated how baby Teddie came to suffer such catastrophic injuries. Bleeding on the brain and fractured skull eliminating key areas. Whether baby Teddie had any pre existing illnesses or conditions, whether it was an accidental with one of the parents, or even one of the siblings. Or whether is was an inflicted injury likely to be one of the parents. Intentional deliberate abuse!

The house downs;
A neighbour stopped the police to inform them that she had spoken to Cane Mitchell on two different occasions, where he was shouting and taking her money and was just being so aggressive towards his partner, Lucy Smith.
Cane Mitchell and Lucy Smith
Both Lucy Smith and Cane Mitchell described their relationship of being a pretty happy one, pretty settled, good routines which was in complete contradictory of what was coming back from the house downs. Which was, really volatile, with lots and lots of swearing at each other, and lots of swearing at the kid's from Cane Mitchell. With neighbours often calling social services because they were so worried about his attitude towards the kids.
Cane Mitchell
A neighbour living the flat directly underneath for four years, described a volatile household with a lot of shouting from Cane Mitchell towards the children. She went on saying during the summer with her windows open, she could hear everything. Describing viscous arguments between Lucy and Cane, describing Cane Mitchell as being an angry person. She said she called the police and knows of two other neighbours that called the police. The same neighbour said she moved here four years ago and Lucy Smith was already living there with the children's dad, then they split up after around two years. Lucy then started seeing a number of different men, then she met someone and got pregnant but then they split up. Not long after Lucy then met Cane Mitchell and moved him in soon after. So from her point of view the neighbour, Cane Mitchell is not the biological father.

Another neighbour contacted police saying that they have captured on video, evidence of Cane Mitchell's abusive and volatile behaviour towards mum, Lucy Smith.
Cane Mitchell's Former girlfriend
A former girlfriend of Cane Mitchell agreed to speak to detectives.  She spoke about what Cane Mitchell was like with her children, going onto say she cried for days after hearing about baby Teddie, saying she knew this would happen.

She described how in their relationship, there was nothing left of her as he would tell her what to say to social services and to the school, and did so otherwise there would be a beating coming afterwards. Strangling her, spitting in her face punching and slapping her, throwing things at her. Calling her names slag, slut, hore and fat cunt.

The post-mortem
Lucy Thompson
Lucy Thompson the Senior Detective investigating Police officer who has been in child protection for 20yrs, describes the post-mortem as a watershed moment. She said she has never investigated a case with that level of catastrophic injury to a baby. It's the realisation that it wasn't one single catastrophic injurie at the end, it was the combination of months of sustained ill-treatment.
Police Officers Summary
In a summary a Police told the story what the Radiographer found in the full skeleton survey, and there was 27 pictures of full skeleton were taken.
Baby Teddie Mitchell injuries
Radiographer had debriefed the police with their findings. Broken Ribs, spine, both clavicles, the collarbones. Skull and pelvis. A skull fracture from front to back, literally broken in two half's.
Baby Teddie Mitchell Skull Compression Split in Two
Method of injury; they suspect compression on the side, squeezing pressing down on head.

Police Officer said the radiographer said the only other time that his seen a spinal compression like this before, at this level, was in a stamping. Holding the child up in the air and thrusting down hard onto object, table. And they suspect, 5 or 6 different events, at least! Due to seeing the healing regime, process and from birth.

Police Officer Demonstrating the Thrusting Action
Unlikely to be the result of rough play. Unlikely to be the result of any interaction between siblings. Police Officer said that the radiographer said, this is akin to the baby P type of injuries, type of case, this is the territory we're in.

Police told Cane Mitchell an interview that DNA results show, he is not Teddie's natural biological father.

Relationship interview with mum;
Lucy Smith was told about the post-mortem and the provisional cause of death which was the head injury, but with additional comments which where that on the basis of a naked eye examination. There's no evidence of any natural disease that caused or contributed to the death.

With the presence of a skull fracture and a brain injury diagnosed in life, together with retinal haemorrhages behind both eyes is evidence of a head injury by either a shaking, or impact type of injuries. In other words, deliberately inflicted injuries!

There's was also evidence of rib fractures, potentially of different ages, along with evidence of lumbar spinal fractures and pubic fracturing, and these would be consistent with a compression or impact type injuries, so deliberately inflicted injuries!

Mother Lucy Smith said after questioned  she has no idea how any of these injuries happened. When asked are you covering for anyone or is there anyone you are scared of, she replied no because at the end of the day that's my son, and he means more to me than anybody.

Lucy Smith was then questioned about her relationship with Cane Mitchell, she says all good don't really argue. The police then disclose neighbours report, calls to police and social services, neighbour concerned about her and children with her being hysterical and shouting with things being thrown, he said with Cane being drunk as his speech was slurred.

Lucy Smiths Dad says when they were staying with him that things weren't quite right, Cane was quite controlling and she continues to protect him.

Police tell her how they have been called out on a number of occasions due violence from Cane, she continues to protect him.

Police ask, is there one thing or anything that might cause Cane Mitchell to resent Teddie, she says no. The police then told her that they had done a DNA test and Cane Mitchell isn't Teddie's natural biological father.

Police interview with one of the older children. The child says, "I call him ugly Cane, I call him ugly Cane because he hits me and punches me in the arm. He basically grabbed hold of my leg clinching my foot really really hard, and dragged me in the room and my head was dragging on the floor and he threw me in the room."

Cane Mitchell while out on bail throws himself under a van doing 70mph on the A10 between Hertford and Ware, but remarkably survives!
Van that hit Cane Mitchell

Police charge Cane Mitchell with murder at the hospital, then arrest Lucy Smith with at home.
Cane Mitchell arrested at hospital
Lucy Smith arrested At home
Lucy Smith was found guilty of neglect and received a two year community order
Kate Mitchell was found guilty of murder and received a life sentence to serve a minimum of eighteen years.

Fathers Day 2021

Dad forced to risk going to Prison to get his children back in his life...

Hiya, I’d like to wish all the fathers out there not receiving a Fathers day card, or able to see their children and have a cuddle due to reasons beyond your control. Hold on gentlemen, I know how hard it is but there's light at the end of the tunnel.

During this crazy time in the history of mankind, one of the main side effects that people are talking about is mental health, even the Duke of Cambridge along with his brother Prince Harry have been advocating for men’s’ mental health for several years now, and then there’s men like me, and you…

Well, I was told by the family court judge in my case, that if I do this and tell my story of what has happened to me, and why I’ve not seen my children now for four years, they would lock me up. She said this after being told that I'd built a website called Fatherless Britain, right behind committing a major denial fraud right at the beginning of the hearing

Don't Take My Baby! Exposure of Social Workers...!

EXPOSURE, this is the footage that the social services didn't want you to see of a six-hour old baby is being taken away from his mother by social workers. It's a forced adoption and this is the footage they didn't want us to see.

Britain is the only country in Europe that commonly allows adoption against the parents' consent. Adoption is for good, and cannot be reversed. forced adoption has the second-highest record in the world of forced adoption, second only to the United States in permanently removing a child from the natural birth parents.

Some parents are so frightened such that they are fleeing abroad helped by an unofficial network of supporters. Ian Joseph a multi-millionaire who has a fleeing abroad from Oxford helps families to escape these forced adoptions and advises parents to leave the UK and in some cases, even pays for some parents to flee Britain to avoid losing their children.

This is a worrying picture of what seems to be the continuing trend of the permanent removal of children. The heartbreak of losing a child along with the added pain of the secrecy that surrounds this whole process.

With social workers using repeated vague descriptions like emotional abuse and the potential of future emotional abuse, without giving any real example. Reciting phrases like meaningless mantras in the Family Court process. The department for the training of social workers is said to be considering training for best practices.

The Government is using targets and funding to speed up this process of adoptions and giving less money in helping families stay together. The fear is that categories like the future risk of emotional abuse are being increasingly used against birth families, with decisions being made by the family courts, to take children into care before the child is even born. With the child not being in any imminent danger, but social workers saying that the child could be at risk of future harm.

With parents faring imprisonment if they talk about their experiences, parents aren't allowed to tell anyone what’s happening to them.

Less time, fewer people, fewer resources, and money to help families earlier on, along with pressure to move them quickly through into adoption, because that's where the money is.

The system is now too quick to presume guilt when parents have been falsely accused of physically harming a child. Could it possibly have been a non-accidental injury, if the answer is yes which it will be in most cases this coming from a Dr, they are referred to social services. The social services then say the Dr has said that it's a potential non-accidental injury.

If the parent can't account for it, then the parent is presumed guilty via the social services and the children will be removed with such speed, that it allows the parent to do nothing other than to be a passenger in the whole process. They can do nothing but only observe from the outside, and there's no way of stopping it once the wheels are in process. Suspicion and here say with flimsy evidence, it then becomes procedural abuse through not actually investigating and just acting without any real thought of the aftermath.

Social services will be actively looking for adopted parents while assessments are still going on. Parading children round on open days for potential adopters along with putting them on websites.

As loving families are being broken up, more and more children are ending up in care, with often a failure to think through, the implications of adoption as opposed to long term fostering or trying to find a special guardian within the family.

With an experience of looseness of thinking with an assumption that, just because a child may not be able to go home at that time, therefore adoption is the right thing all round.

Where there are care orders, a third of them are in the process of adoption. Moving children through the care procedure system, as fast as possible, only to park them at the end with placement orders, with thousands of them with no placements available.

The ultimate decision to remove children from the home lies with the family courts. And this decision should only happen when they are sure and it is proven that the children are suffering, or likely to suffer significant harm.

There are concerns that the government's new children and families act, no longer gives a clear priority to the broader over foster carers and adopters, making it more likely for a child to be placed with strangers.

With the child's legal status with the family being severed by this grave interference of family life, that child is no longer the natural biological parents’ child. Any other children they have, are no longer legally that child's brother and sister. Forced adoptions are closed, which means the family has no legal rights and cannot see the child until they are eighteen, and only if that child wants to.

There were around 4000 children awaiting adoption during the making of this film, and for those who are adopted, around a third will be returned to care. The government's new children and families act are likely to increase the number of cases of forced adoptions.

Parents that talk or disclose details of child proceedings risk imprisonment as the law says, proceedings involving children must be kept secret to protect the identity of the child. Parents are not allowed to tell anyone what is happening to them, and the media is forbidden to report any details of such cases.

Martha Cover Chair of Association of severed  has specialised in children's law for twenty-five years and believes there have been incidences where the law on secrecy, has been taken too far.
Martha Cover says, the purpose of the legislation that protects the confidentiality of children's proceedings and the identity of the children and their families is there to protect them. But by a side-wind, it has also had the effect of protecting poor local authority practice, poor social service work, and inadequate expert work and expert reporting to the courts.

She states that in one case, former president of the family division, Sir James Mumby refused to sign the Injunction of Staffordshire County to silence a father. In doing so, this became a game-changer. He said the veil of secrecy had gone too far.

Martha Cover said that local authorities can no longer assume that their actions are protected from public scrutiny. She goes on to say that we as a society are moving rapidly away from doing everything possible to keep children within their families, opting for adoption. The statistics by the department of education show a 95% increase in the number of court orders which are required to allow local authorities to place a child for adoption.

Once a child has been taken into care and approved for adoption, it is incredibly hard for birth parents to ever get their children back. And while parents are doing everything humanly possible, whether that be taking parenting classes and marriage courses etc. The social services are actively looking for potential adopted parents for the child, all while assessments are still being carried out.

This process has been made even tougher for parents with the new children and family act. As with what use to take a year or so, has now been shortened with the new target to complete the whole process from the moment the child is taken into care, to a time frame of just twenty-six-weeks, of which the care plan now includes adoption. This act came into force in April 2014.

So, if mother at the beginning of proceedings has given up drugs while she was pregnant, of which all experts say a minimum of twelve months of absence is needed. This act now only gives the family courts twenty-six weeks to make a decision. As a result, children are being placed for adoption who shouldn't be.

The act is a passion Project for Michael Gove, the then education minister who is a strong advocate for this policy. He says his life was transformed with the opportunities that he has been given in being adopted into a family when he was just four months old.

Bridget Robb Chief Executive British Association of Social Workers Union, the largest body of social Workers in Britain says, to extend and implement this and say it’s good for everybody because he had a good experience, is itself naïve and a political ideology. Ideology, a system of ideas and ideals, especially one which forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy.

Lucy Allan Conservative MP for Telford and now family rights campaigner, found herself going through this exact process of the very same system via Wandsworth social services. She later found out, social services had ticked a box saying her child was at risk of significant harm which is a permanent record and stays on an individual’s record forever and has to be disclosed in any CRB check around children. The irony of this is that she went to the Dr’s expressing she was feeling a little low and prior to her experience, she worked on the Wandsworth fostering and adoption panel. Accessing cases of the most vulnerable children of disadvantaged backgrounds for six years. She said she doesn’t recall more than one case where the panel ever disagreeing with the recommendations of the social workers. Fortunately for her, she had the economic means to deal with this and started legal action appointing solicitors and top QC’s of which these sorts of resources are not readily available to most of us.

Family Law Court Overhaul announced by the Government 25/06/2020

Family Law Court Overhaul announced by the Government 25/06/2020, FatherlessBritain
Government overhaul report by Emma Ailes, the BBC from FatherlessBritain.

The Government have announced what they call, sweeping reforms, a major overall of the family courts to better protect victims of domestic violence.

The announcement comes after a review into how the family courts operate, after an investigation by BBC reporter Emma Ailes.

Particularly when a judge is deciding contact between a parent and a child.

The review was looking into whether victims in domestic abuse, were being properly protected in cases that came before the family courts. And in particular when a judge is deciding contact between a parent and a child.

In this report on the Victoria Derbyshire show aired back in 2019. It discovered that at least four children had been killed by a parent with a known history of domestic abuse, all within the space of five years, that being after a court had granted contact.

We also heard of cases of individuals that who have been convicted in criminal a courts including cases of rape, violent offences and even child sex abuse, and these parents were granted unsupervised overnight contact with their children.

After this investigation, the Government then announced this review.

The review highlighted concerns that abuses had been systematically minimised, and allegations had been ignored, dismissed or disbelieved in the family courts.

It also heard criticisms of what it called a pro contact culture, that being presumption of equal shared parental responsibility. So, courts unduly prioritising contact between a parent and a child, and in some cases the perpetrators of abuse being given unrestricted access to children.

It also described an adversarial system, where parents are pitted against each other in court including in cases where there are allegations of domestic abuse.  And parents unrepresented as legal aid often isn’t always available in the family court.

The report also highlighted where parents were often trying to report allegations of ongoing domestic abuse by a perpetrator. These were often dismissed by professionals in the field.

So, the Government has introduced, what it calls sweeping reforms.

It also bans cross examination from the perpetrators and victims.

Also recommended in this review was further powers to the judges in the form of barring orders, which will stop perpetrators repeatedly taking ex-partners back to court.

This review has been welcomed by many working in the domestic abuse field including, the family courts most senior judge, Sir Andrew McFarlane.
